Are you a seafood eater traveling to Copenhagen, Denmark? Well, if you love eating oysters, mussels, and prawns, you are in luck! Our latest guest blog post from the team at Bounce shares what you can expect at eight of the best Copenhagen seafood restaurants. Throughout the post, you’ll also find links to make reservations at these top Copenhagen restaurants before your trip.

Home to the Amalienborg Palace, Rosenborg Castle, and Christianborg Palace, Copenhagen attracts millions of tourists each year. With so many unique things to do in this Danish capital, you’ll want to spend the day exploring all that the city has to offer, including dining at Copenhagen’s best seafood restaurants.

Located on Amager and Zealand islands, Copenhagen is a dream destination for any lover of seafood. Not only is seafood here always fresh, but around almost every corner is a fantastic seafood restaurant. So, while you are exploring the city, be sure to dine at one of the following top-rated seafood restaurants in Copenhagen.

But before hitting the streets to sightsee or taste fried pickled herring, we recommend dropping your shopping bags and suitcases at a Copenhagen luggage storage locker for safekeeping. Dragging large bags through crowded city streets is not ideal and will only slow you down!

À Terre

For some of the freshest seafood dishes created by Chef Yves Le Lay, of Hell’s Kitchen Denmark fame, enjoy dinner at À Terre. The signature dishes have a strong French influence and are an absolute must-try.

For a truly unforgettable dining experience at this modern French restaurant, pair the perfect wine with your meal of Rossini caviar followed by the shrimp from Skagen or langoustine from Anholt.

Please note, this is an upscale restaurant, so if you have children in tow, it may not be the best place for you. To ensure you can enjoy À Terre while in Copenhagen, you should reserve your table early.

On the menu are several types of clams, squid, and langoustines, as well as shelled prawns, and of course, oysters. It is one of the few places you can eat well-prepared steak tartare while sipping on an exotic cocktail. You’ll want to bring an appetite and your sense of adventure!
