Running out of groceries and can’t eat out due to Michigan’s restaurant closures? I’ve compiled the best takeout and food delivery options available in Grand Rapids, Michigan, during the temporary shutdown of restaurants’ dine-in services. In addition to this Grand Rapids takeout guide, you’ll find takeout guides for Ann Arbor, Kalamazoo, and Metro Detroit.

Downtown (Center City + Heartside)

Carry-out, curbside pick-up, and/or delivery services are available from the following Downtown Market food vendors: 

The Downtown Market is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10. a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday for carry-out dining and groceries. However, hours for individual vendors may vary. For curbside pickups, call upon arrival to have your order delivered to your vehicle. The Downtown Market is located at 435 Ionia Ave SW. 

Luna

Luna’s carry-out menu features family meals that feed 4-6, to-go margaritas, margarita mix, and more. You can place your order for pickup or delivery on the Luna website or by calling 616-288-6340 between 4 and 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from noon to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Gift cards are also available. Luna is located at 64 Ionia Ave SW Suite 100.

One Twenty Three Tavern

Does any food sound more comforting during a pandemic than a homestyle meatloaf? The comforting dishes from One Twenty Three Tavern are available from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to. 8 p.m. Sunday for carry-out and delivery orders. You may place your pick-up order by calling 616-900-9123, or order via Uber Eats for delivery. One Twenty Three Tavern is located at 111 Ionia Ave SW. 

SpeakEZ Lounge

SpeakEZ is offering a carry-out, curbside pickup, and delivery via Postmates and Uber Eats. You can place your order between noon at 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday online or by calling 616-458-3125. Eastown

Whether you’re craving breakfast for dinner or a classic deli sandwich, you can still order your Matchbox Diner favorites for carryout from 11:30 a.m. until 7 p.m. daily. In addition to its carry-out offerings, Matchbox has a take-and-bake menu of family-size meals. Matchbox Diner is located at 1345 Lake Drive SE.

Terra

Terra is offering carryout food as well as beer, wine, and handcrafted cocktails from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. You can place your order online or call 616-301-0998. Gift cards are also available. Terra is located at 1429 Lake Drive SE.

Maru Sushi

Brewery Vivant

Brewery Vivant is offering to-go food and beer for curbside pickup or delivery between 1 and 7 p.m. daily. Plus, canned beer is 15% off! You can place your order online. Brewery Vivant is located at 925 Cherry Street SE.

Brick Road Pizza Co.

Brick Road Pizza Co. is offering curbside pickup from noon to 9 p.m. with local delivery from 4 to 8 p.m. To order, call 616-719-2409. Brick Road Pizza Co. is located at 1017 Wealthy Street SE. 

Donkey Taqueria

The hipstery taco spot is taking carry-out orders at 616-259-9483 or online. Hours posted online state 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., but check the Donkey Taqueria website or social media for updates. Donkey Taqueria is located at 665 Wealthy Street SE. 

The Green Well

From 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, the Green Well is offering carry-out orders of food, wine, and beer, including $15 growlers. You can place your order online or by calling 616-808-3566. For curbside, call the restaurant upon arrival. The Green Well is located at 924 Cherry Street SE.

Hancock

For Hancock’s fried chicken, you can order carry out online or call 616-805-4232 for pickup. The restaurant is working to get on DoorDash for delivery orders soon. For large delivery orders, email catering@allinhospitality.com. Hanock is located at 1157 Wealthy Street SE.

Maru Sushi

Like other Maru locations across the state, this East Hills sushi spot is offering carry-out service until 8 p.m. daily. You can place your order online. Maru is located at 927 Cherry Street.

Squibb Coffee and Wine Bar

This East Hills coffee shop and wine bar is open for to-go coffee, tea, and goodies from Rise Authentic Baking. You can also purchase gift cards online. Squibb Coffee and Wine Bar is located at 955 Wealthy Street SE.

Zivio

Zivio is taking carry-out, curbside, and delivery orders for its modern European cuisine from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday and from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. To place your order, call 616-608-3534 or go through Grubhub. A $5 flat rate will apply to delivery orders placed directly with the restaurant. For first-time Grubhub orders, you’ll receive 25% off. Also, Zivio is offering 20% off gift cards and $10 growler fills. Zivio is located at 724 Wealth Street SE. 

North Quarter (Creston + Cheshire Village)

Fratelli’s Kitchen + Bar

Pasta, pizza, and sandwiches are available for curbside pickup and contact-free delivery. You can place your order online or by calling 616-551-1332. Fratelli’s Kitchen + Bar is located at 443 Bridge Street NW.

Jolly Pumpkin Grand Rapids

Pizza and beer are available for carry-out and delivery orders between noon and 9 p.m. from Jolly Pumpkin. To place your order from this temporary to-go menu, call 616-419-4676 for carry-out or use DoorDash for free delivery. Jolly Pumpkin Grand Rapids is located at 428 Bridge Street NW.

The Mitten Brewing Company

This baseball-themed microbrewery’s pizzas and craft beers are available for curbside pickup from noon to 8 p.m Sunday through Thursday and from noon to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday. To order from Mitten Brewing, call 616-608-5612 or 616-900-9800. Mitten Brewing is located at 527 Leonard Street NW.

New Holland The Knickerbocker

Food, packaged beer, and growler fills can be ordered for pickup or delivery from The Knickerbocker. To place an order, call 616-345-5642. Food deliveries are also available via Grubhub. New Holland The Knickerbocker is located at 417 Bridge Street NW. 

The Sovengard

The Sovengard is offering beer, wine, and locally sourced grocery boxes as well as delivery and takeout from noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. Order online or call 616-214-7207. The Sovengard is located at 443 Bridge Street NW.
